Java/J2EE Developer

 

Your tasks include

software design and modelling, programming of applications and application parts for web and desktop applications in Java,  as well as integration/interface programming between Java applications

We expect from you

Several years of Java programming experience with

• J2SE, J2EE
• Java Web technologies & Frameworks (Tomcat, Struts, Velocity, etc.)
• Development Environments (Ant, Maven, Junit, CVS, Eclipse)
• AJAX,(D)HTML, Javascript
• XML, XSLT,
• Databases (MySQL, Postgres, Apache Derby, DB2)
  
  Experience welcome in:
  
  
• SOA-Technologies (WS-*,REST, SCA)
• IBM Websphere Portal
• Metadata Technologies: RDF(S), OWL
• OSGI (Eclipse Equinox)
• Eclipse RCP
  
• Software design
  
• OOA & OOD with UML
  
  
  Experience/Specialisation/Interest in one or several of the following areas is welcome:
  
  
• Information retrieval, search engines
• Information extraction, text analysis
• Machine learning
• Semantic Web Technologies
• Knowledge-based systems
• Web-Portals
• Web 2.0 applications
